Passengers with baggage are required
to be checked in at the ticket counter and through security 30
minutes or more before departure so make sure you are at the airport
90 minutes before departure for international and 75 minutes
for
national travel.
For tickets issued on or after November 12, 2008, the following fees will be charged for overweight luggage.
No charge for up to 50 pounds.
51-70 pound fee is $90.
71-100 pound fee is $175.
Charges are collected at origin city.
Oversized luggage fee for 63-160 inches is $100.
Fees for checked luggage remain at $15 for the first piece of luggage. The second bag fee is $25. Third bag is $125 and fourth - tenth bag is $200.
First and second bag fee do not apply for the following:
Elite coach passengers.
All military fares
Passengers booked in *Y or *B class.
